I know what he's saying and through a semi-poor choice of words it makes it sound worse than it is. He's right, people need to do a little more work to remove their old posts. HOWEVER, some repeats are acceptable for reasons others have stated below...especially businesses with ever changing pricing. I know *I* have gone in and checked old versus new ads. It's people selling one item or two that sell them and don't remove them before relisting that stack them up. Even then, it's easy to forget to do since the old posts roll off so fast they don't even notice. It's only the people actually scanning the whole forum that see it. Anyway, I'm almost NEVER in there to delete things (I stay out of classifieds because I have no monetary self control :) but other admins DO patrol it. Maybe not enough? I don't know.
